I have a Myst 3 unknown game variant:

name: Myst 3
version: DVD Windows v1.24
language: Japanese only

The error from ScummVM v2.6.1:

Thanks for providing this data, just a couple questions:
Did you try playing the game? Does it work properly?

Is this a japanese only (no english) DVD version? Then maybe the entry should be

MYST3ENTRY(Common::JA_JPN, "JAPANESE.m3u", "5c18c9c124ff92d2b95ae5d128228f7b", "DVD", kLocMonolingual)

instead of

MYST3ENTRY(Common::JA_JPN, "JAPANESE.m3u", "5c18c9c124ff92d2b95ae5d128228f7b", nullptr, kLocMulti2)

Yes.

Is this a japanese only (no english) DVD version?

No.
"Language" in Option has both Japanese and English settings.
But Option itself is written in Japanese only.
