Description
Hello,
I own the Starhip Titanic french version and I tried to launch it with ScummVM but it doesn't recognize it.
I consult the data wiki, did all as described.
There isn't a new.st file but nouveau.st (french translation).
Thank you for your help.

It's an official french version, 3 CD, code 3364720232019.
I already asked Gog if they plan to sell this version, no plan for the moment.

Huh.. interesting in it's own right. Given the amount of translation effort it would have taken to translate all the text and re-record all the many hours of speech fragments, not to mention parser changes to handle German syntax, I'm still frankly surprised that it was ever even translated into German, let alone now French as well.
That's correct.. only the English and German versions are supported. I'm not aware of any official French release of the game. Are you using a fan translation patch? In which case, it may be more effective to see if the original patchers are willing to redo all their changes within ScummVM so the version can be supported. Adding support for German was basically an extended toil of hunting down every code difference and translated text string in the German executable, unfortunately, and I personally wouldn't have the patience to spend the several weeks more required work to add support for yet another language. At least not in the forseeable future.
If it was actually an official release, you might want to get in contact with GOG about adding the release to the existing Starship Titanic game package. Having it available for download alongside the English and German would make it easier for anyone so desiring to work on adding support for it in ScummVM in the future.
