Pegasus: Unknown version of Pegasus prime

I have download pegasus prime from gog on windows and it runs just fine. It uses a modified scummvm version pre-1.7.0.

If I take the PP Data folder and try to important it into a recent scummvm version (scummvm win32 kirben 2.0.0git-87-gc278677d07) it says the version is not recognized. It is english.

The game in '\Pegasus_Prime\' seems to be an
unknown The Journeyman Project: Pegasus Prime engine game variant.

The DVD version of Pegasus contain quite a lot of changes when compared to the CD version. Including a very large easter egg, new sequences and higher quality sounds and movies.

It requires a lot more changes than just adding the detection entry. Fortunately it uses a fork of ScummVM, and a source patch was released with the game. I took some time to update it a few months ago, as well as apply a few fixes of my own: ​https://github.com/bgK/scummvm/tree/pegasus-dvd

However this patch cannot be merged without having a discussion beforehand regarding a certain aspect of its authorship, and making sure it does not break the CD version. So, please don't create a pull request with it.

It looks like you have already included the authorship details in your commit and authors file, does anything else need to be done in this respect? Should we first attempted to have clone2727 submit this patch instead?

Is the next step to have testers playthrough the cd and dvd versions of your fork?

This now has been fixed. The DVD version is fully supported. Please test.
