dafioram: Thanks for this, but exactly which video causes the crash?
I started this with "./scummvm -d 3 --debugflags=movie toon" and loaded your savegame.
Skipping the first two videos after Bricabrac talks about the cutifier, gets you to the video with Drew saying YES! to King Hugh and the big end of Act 1 reveal.
That would be ACT2/DUNGEON/201_2M.SMK which is 24214148 bytes and has the following MD5sum:
64248cf4b904f6b3f970d7f8a889baa3 *ACT2/DUNGEON/201_2M.SMK
If that is the case, I don't appear to get the same crash that you do... so any help on how to get a replication of this bug?

Sorry it's the forth video, so skip the first 3.
It's 201AM.smk

Still no replication / crash.
However, my 201AM.SMK does not match your MD5sum, so you may either have a variant version or datafile corruption from the CD dump.
My version of 201AM.SMK is 23305952 bytes with the following MD5sum:
4403e38302ba39b8a328d2e8339d4309 *ACT2/DUNGEON/201AM.SMK
I suggest you check and maybe recopy from the original CD...

Yeah, it was just corrupt.
Rather than just recopying from the disc I just got the gog version.
End of act1, hit red button
