QFG4 CD (English)
In the thieves' guild... When clicking MOUTH on the hero and making the thief sign, the message refers to Chief as a monster. If you give him the statue to turn him back into a human, the message will still refer to him as a monster.
"Feeling like an idiot (as you generally do when making the sign), you go through the motions of performing the Thief Sign to the monster."
It's in both text and audio, technically fixable with code if playback can be stopped early or range-limited.
The original interpreter also does this.

It's in the floppy edition under ScummVM, and its original interpreter, too.

Audio fiddling was if one wanted to preserve every bit of John Rhys-Davies. :P
Simpler solution: substitute the narration from elsewhere, as with Nikolai, outside Cranium's house.
"You put your thumb on your nose and wiggle your fingers while rubbing the other hand on your belly."

Found another: telling Chief about the Burgomeister burglary.
These are the self-dialogue results for both CD and Floppy editions under ScummVM, and their original interpreters.
Monster Chief
- [...]
- "Old man's house"
- "You tell the Chief about your break in at the Old Man's house."
- "Burgomeister's office"
- "You tell the monster about your break-in at the Burgomeister's office."
- "Make Thief Sign"
- "Feeling like an idiot (as you generally do when making the Sign), you go through the motions of performing the Thief Sign to the monster."
Human Chief, recently transformed
- "Monastery break in"
- No narrator. Chief immediately replies. (This is another simple solution to faulty narration.)
- [...]
- "Make Thief Sign"
- "Feeling like an idiot (as you generally do when making the Sign), you go through the motions of performing the Thief Sign to the monster."
Human Chief, after re-entering
Bonus: "break-in" vs "break in". *eyeroll*
It's a little odd that burglary mentions are split that way. Limited screen real estate, I guess.

This is a mild continuity error in the original message text that also has recorded audio, so I don't see anything that can or should be done about this. I'll leave this open a while longer before closing.
If the game contained alternate versions of these messages that weren't getting used then that would be a potentially fixable script bug, but it doesn't.

Sorry if I'm pointing out the obvious, but it seems that there should be enough material to create seamless new audio messages (perhaps for #10771 and others as well). Whether it is worth the trouble to implement is another matter.
