Description
Something is very wrong with the MT-32 music during Legend of Kyrandia (CD/DOS/English).
Issue/reproduction:
1) Select "MT-32 Emulator" and make sure "Mixed AdLib/MIDI mode" is off.
2) Turn down all three volume sliders but DO NOT "Mute All".
3) Start the game and exit the first room to trigger the scene with the talking tree.
4) Notice one of the audio channels is very loud? It's not affected by the volume sliders.
This also happens with an external Munt setup. It doesn't seem to happen when "Mixed AdLib/MIDI mode" is turned on, for some bizarre reason.
I've noticed the volume go out of whack at seemingly random times just playing the game, lasting until I reach a music transition. It might possibly be related, and so the above is the best reproduction case.
I've tested this on the ScummVM 2.0 that's distributed with the GOG release of the game, as well as the latest ScummVM 2.1.2, both on Windows 10.
I'm not sure if it's an Engine: Kyra specific issue or a general MT-32 issue.

Ah brilliant. It's fixed in the latest master. I should have checked it to be honest.

Thanks for confirming. I close this
Thanks for your report. I can reproduce the issue with older versions of ScummVM (including the last release version 2.1.2), but not with the latest daily build.
We have had several MT-32 fixes since the 2.1.2 release (which also included fixes to the proper handling of the sfx channels). So I think your reported issue might already have been addressed.
Please try the latest daily build:
https://buildbot.scummvm.org/snapshots/master/mingw-w32-master-latest.zip
https://buildbot.scummvm.org/snapshots/master/mingw-w64-master-latest.zip
(whichever version is the right one for your system)
Is the bug still present?
