Hi Marcus
We were discussing in one of the forums, if there is mp3 support for the Dreamcast port, or will be? And consequently, if it were possible with some kind of packaging, of some sort of sound and/or music and/or speech, if that maybe would solve the problem with the stutter in some games? Any thoughts??

MP3 support is there if you have libmad for the Dreamcast and enable the support when compiling. It is not included by default or in the binary distributions.
Since the "stutter" is caused by the main CPU being too busy with other things to fill the audio pipe, causing it to underrun; adding decompression, which just adds to the general busyness of the main CPU, would only make things worse.

I'm closing this for now.
I need to talk to Marcus regarding DC support for 0.6.0 - the port needs some work, may need to get somebody else working on some of these problems.
