Description
The game in 'V2_DISC1' seems to be an unknown game variant.
Please report the following data to the ScummVM team at https://bugs.scummvm.org/ along with the name of the game you tried to add and its version, language, etc.:
Matched game IDs for the director engine: director-win-fallback
{"voyeur2.exe", 0, "e7bccfe54354d08a9d2d0e181f66406b", 2003432},
https://www.scummvm.org/news/20210817/ mentions that you are collecting info on any Director-based game, so here we go: This is the European Version of "Voyeur II", even though it isn't supported yet.

I did that for various Director games (including various older Macromedia Director 3 games such as the Victor Vector & Yondo games), but most of them are currently failing to start. So for now I refrain from opening more tickets as it seems to be too early. For Voyeur II for example the output is

Yes, I was lucky with "Klondike Gold" but most of "Uknown Variants" give some sort of error like that. I've started adding the output to the reports anyways but I don't know if it helps. I've seen so many tickets here but it seems progress has stopped or something.

Thank you for reporting this bug.
This is a Director 6 game. ScummVM supports up to Director 4.
We are accepting file hashes to improved and extend the game detection.
@jamie-marchant: Come on over to our discord #engine-director. We're making progress, albeit slowly. Expect most progress to be made during the summer while GSOC is in progress.

Oh, I see, I'll close my tickets for the new version of Director then, thanks.

Yes, this is the Dice release (see https://www.mobygames.com/game/voyeur-ii/cover-art/gameCoverId,87403/ for a full cover art set of this version).
However I just realized that the game itself is actually a DOS executable (vols/v2.exe). The voyeur2.exe file in the main directory is not the game, but a launcher application (including things like instructions, game lore documents, credits and a link to the installation program).
Due to that I think the game should be removed from https://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php?title=Director/Games.

Could you post a list of the files in the CD root?
Due to that I think the game should be removed from https://wiki.scummvm.org/index.php?title=Director/Games.
Yes, or at least it should be mentioned that only the launcher is Director. It seems there is also an hard to find hybrid pc/mac version, but I couldn't find any info about the engine.

You can find the complete file listing here:
- Disc 1: http://medienarchiv.digitalimagecorp.de/Optisch/Spiele%20-%20PC/VoyeurIICD1.cue-iso9660.html
- Disc 2: http://medienarchiv.digitalimagecorp.de/Optisch/Spiele%20-%20PC/VoyeurIICD2.cue-iso9660.html
Unfortunately the European release doesn't contain the Mac version, it's just an ISO9660 file system...

Thanks a lot for your cooperation! Added the detection entry for the launcher.
I'll leave the bug open to track progress

I'm closing this, because no D6 games are supposed even to launch yet.
I got a director program running by hitting something like 'ignore'(on the variant dailog) if you want to see what happens next.
