Description
Hi!
I found a problem with the english Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis Talkie Version together with the ScummVM Dreamcast port (last built from 2003-05-06).
After Indy has found Plato's Lost Dialog in Barnette College and presents it to Sophia, when exiting the screen with the book, the game doesn't continue in Indy's office, but with the Scene in Sophias wardrobe in New York, when Nur-Ab-Sal's ghost gets out of her necklace.
I tried it several times. Always with the same result. I can't get on with the game from that position.
However, the game works perfectly in the actual 0.5.0 PC ScummVM build.

From what I remember, when you read the Lost Dialog the script makes a temporary savegame, shows the book and, when you've finished reading, reloads the temporary savegame.
If, for whatever reason, the saving fails but there is an old temporary savegame lying about... well, I guess that's a possible explanation, at least. But this is just idle speculation. I haven't even tried to verify it.

Sorry, for not including the save game, but as i mentioned I played it on my Dreamcast. And it's not connected to the internet. So uploading the save game would be a little difficult.
Anyway, I think I have to free some additional space on my memory card, because if I'm not mistaken the game says that there's not enough space for saving before I enter the book screen. I didn't know that the script would load a wrong save game instead. I'm sorry if that was no bug. I will try it out as soon as possible.
Thanks for the help. :)

I had time to check it out. I freed additional memory on the memory card so that the game could auto-save. And it worked. So it was no real bug.
But there were two things I noticed. Can someone tell me, why there were 3 Indy4 savegames on the card, although I only had the one auto-savegame and a second savegame I created? The second thing is, that that third savegame had the file extension .c99 (the savegames should start with .s00).
Anyway, it works. Thanks for the help! :)

I believe the .c99 savegame is the temporary one I described earlier. It's not something the user would normally see, since it's used by the game scripts themselves as a cheap trick for showing an unrelated scene (e.g. the Lost Dialog) and then return to the previous scene as if nothing had happened.
Auto-saving and temporary savegames are two different things.
It would be very helpful if you attach savefile for this point in the game.
