Description
The game is detected, but won't start.
Tried it with many daily builds, since AGS is supported.
The following error message shows up:
"WARNING: Please run the setup programm and ensure that the German translation pack is selected unter the "Game Langue" section before playing. This version of the game will not run in English or other languages"
Within ScummVM option, it tried to switch language manually, but with no success

Using ScummVM 2.6.0pre1-gd1ccb3b4cbb (Jun 6 2022 04:44:10), the game starts properly (although it crashes soon after the company logo) if the german language is set in the config file.

Crash also happens using upstream 3.6.0.46
Dropping priority as it's not really a ScummVM bug (and this version is quite hard to find).

Well, it seems I had a problem with the datafiles.
The game also uses some .dat files that should be in the game folder, but if the installer is manually extracted instead of run, these end up in a /tmp/ subdir.
Moving the files to the game folder, the game runs normally.

I can confirm this behavior using Red Rock's DVD release (I don't think other german versions exist).
Issue still present after changing (manually or using winsetup) the cfg file
