ZAK AMIGA - Intro credits run too fast

Description
Using latest CVS (26/01/2004), Gentoo Linux, Athlon T-Bird 900, Kernel 2.4.x, ALSA.
The credits seem to run at the correct speed other than the sequence which slowly zooms in on the Mars face to reveal the map in the mouth, which moves incredibly quickly - far too fast to actually read the credits given.
I'm pretty sure this is faster than it used to be on my Amiga, and my suspicions are supported by the fact that the intro sequence ends with the giant nose glasses, then plays about another 30 seconds of music with nothing happening.
I've only obtained the Amiga version recently, so I have no idea if this is a regression thing or an uncaptured bug.

quiestust/_Q (person responsible for most of the amiga music support) mentioned that the amiga scripts don't have any timing data in them (for the intro at least possibly the whole game?), hence things are not speed limited like they should be. (This is not the case in the PC version).
I'm not sure if this is something that is solveable.
