Version: Keywords: ios, ipad, ags

Description

IPad OS 16
ScummVM 2.7.0
Sideloaded using AltStore
AGD Remakes graphics not loading on game. Examples on attachments: King’s Quest 2 remake shows graham, point bar at top, and net floating in water, but nothing else. King’s quest 3 redux shows Alexander and cat, nothing else.
I have tried multiple graphics settings on global and game settings with no luck.

Hi, thanks for the report. Have you tried other AGS games besides the AGDI ones? Such as
5 days a stranger or i want out! if you prefer something newer
(there are thousands, really)

Also, does the problem occur with other engines?

It has similar issues with Heroine’s quest, which I assume is an AGS game but not sure? No other engines appear to give same results. Thanks!

The graphic manager is rewritten on latest master. Is it possible for you to test on latest master? Else I will try to find some time to see if I can test it.

Unfortunately on the master list I don’t see a file I’m allowed to use to install on iPad.. If there is one I’m happy to test!

If there is a place to get an .ipa file of the new master, I can install that.. unless there’s a way I can install from the current file extension on the iOS master, I just don’t know how to do that unfortunately.

Download a build from buildbots, e.g
https://buildbot.scummvm.org/#/builders/108/builds/7939

Extract the file and you have a scummvm.app
An .ipa file is just a zipped app bundle

Create an empty directory with the name Payload .
Move the . app file inside the Payload directory.
Compress the Payload directory into an archive (. zip file) and give it a new name with . ...
Your . ipa file is now ready for upload to Sauce Labs.

My apologies, I’ve tried unzipping, placing in folder etc., with no luck getting AltStore to recognize the package to install. If there’s a location of an .ipa file I can download and try immediately, otherwise unfortunately if you can find somebody else to test that’s probably best! Sorry again!
