MANIAC64: Graphical glitch when Space Police arrive

Description
In the attached save, wait a few seconds. The space police will show up and charge into the lab. As the screen scrolls past Purple Tentacle, you'll see a weird leftover artifact of his sprite on the left-hand side of the screen. (Screenshot + saved attached.)
(More generally, I was encountering a number of unreproducible fleeting graphical glitches as I was playing the game; this is the only one I could reliably reproduce. Hopefully, if this one gets fixed, the rest will be nailed in the process.)

Cool, a reproducible graphic glitch is always very helpful :-). Thanks a bunch. It "works" for me, too.
Another place where a reproducible graphics glitch is visible (BTW also a costume glitch, like this one) is in the MM V1 intro, when the meteor crashes down (screenshot attached). I've been trying hard in the past to fix it, but so far I haven't got the slightest clue as to what might cause it. :-/

Fixed in CVS. Turned out the proc64 costume render didn't properly clip its drawin on the right side of the screen... trivial to fix :-)
