Description
I've just got the new version of ScummVM 0.6.1b-2 and where as previously the cutscenes to broken sword 1 and 2 were there (as I downloaded them from the website and put them into the right directory) they can now no longer be accessed. It says, as before I put the cutscenes on - No cutscenes available - download them etc...
NB: I upgraded from 0.6.1b

I don't understand why this was assigned to me -- I have nothing to do with this issue, as far as I can tell.

The main problem here is that nobody knows what version your talking about.
0.6.1b-2? What -2? We never officially released a b-2 version, which suggests your using an unofficial binary from somewhere else that is not compiled with mpeg2 support.

Its the version that was released in october. I'm new to the preoject and recently got SuSe 9.2 which it came preinstalled. I'm just a newbie I suppose somust be something I'm doing. But in the previous version that came with SuSe 9.1 pro it all worked fine.
The -2 comes from the rpm name. The 0.6.1b was released on a second date I assumed it was a updated version of the beta.
Thanks to all for the help, much appreciated

Well, thats an unofficial release of ScummVM so we cannot guarantee it has been compiled with all needed features.
Please follow eriktorbjorns instructions to check the features supported by your version of ScummVM. If mpeg2 support is missing, you probably need to file a bugreport with the SUSE package maintainer.

Someone might want to tell the package maintainer to update the description of the package as well. The one at http://www.suse.de/en/private/products/suse_linux/prof/packages_professional/scummvm.html is rather out of date. :-)

I'll file a complaint. There is'nt MPEG 2 support, only MP3. Meanwhile I'll try to get the official version on instead.

Odd, the cutscenes work for me with ScummVM 0.6.1b. Did you unpack the cutscenes where ScummVM can find them? I keep mine in "video" sub-directories of my BS1 and BS2 directories.
Is your ScummVM compiled with MPEG2 support? You can see that by pressing the "About" button in the ScummVM launcher. It should say something like "Supports: Vorbis MP3 zLib MPEG2", give or take a few features.
