No "music" (audio track) in Gobliiins CD

Reported by: SF/theruler76 Owned by: eriktorbjorn
Priority: normal Component: Engine: Gob
Version: Keywords:
Cc: Game: Gobliiins

Description

ScummVM0.8.0cvs build 18-05-05 (win32 version) Gobliiins CD multilanguage

In the CD there is an audio Track that isn't reproduced in the game. The Game runs correctly but the audio track doesn't play... (intro is muted as long as the background in the stages) I tried to encode in .mp3 format and name it as track1.mp3 (same format as monkey CD version for instance) but nothing changed. Is it a bug or a not yet implemented feature? (or I did somethin' wrong).

thank you guys in advance... bye.

One thing that could cause that behaviour is if the file gob.lic is missing. (Or perhaps just differently named in your version.)

I checked and... yes you're right Erik... the file was missing... I copied from the original CD... and it worked as you said! thnx alot... and excuse for the silly question...

Actually, there are no compatibility (afaik) list for cocktel vision series yet around the site...so I did the mistake...

keep up the good work... I wish I can see all the gob titles plus Woodroof working, one day...

I play with the track encoded in ogg vorbis as track1.ogg and it works. I don't know what could be happening.

Try a version >= 2005-05-19, what's what i've been using
