Description
After lighting the fire at the beehive tree, the bee sounds continue even after the bees have flown away. In the official interpreter, these sounds stop as soon as the fire is lit.
I'm using the Mac OS X version of the game with a CVS build compiled with GCC 4.0 on Mac OS X 10.4.2.

I've attached a savegame at the beehive with all of the items you need to trigger the bug. Don't try to exit the area, however; I cheated my way there with the magic hat.

I've found what seems to be an instance of the same bug, which occurs in Prince's bedroom; the snoring sounds continue even after a squeaking board and when he is speaking. It gives a console error, "WARNING: Slow string encountered!!" I've attached a savegame for Prince's room.

This bug already existed in the original floppy version game when playing in MS-DOS.

I fixed mentioned bug with sound in prince room.
Though beehive bug has completely different nature. I believe this is because we play ire animation completely wrong. I.e. sound stopping is most probably attached to a particular fire sequence frame.

This is still present, but somewhat different now. The bee noises end after the bees fly away now, but still continue too long because they are audible in the period between when the fire is lit and when they fly offscreen.

Don't get me wrong there, but isn't it the way it should be?
@fancia said the bee sound is NOW (2005-10-26) audible even after the fire is lit upto the point where the bees have flown off-screen, right? Well, i'd be puzzled if the bees stop buzzing as soon as the fire is lit, i mean, you can still see them flying away, so you should still be able to hear them too, shouldn't you?
OK, @fancia said also, that in the original the sound from the bees stopped immediately after the fire was lit, but i think it's more "realistic" this way and maybe the immediate stop of the sound is a bug in the original game anyway ;-)

Indeed, I think we could close this now, as the behavior seems sensible now... No?

If possible, please, attach a savegame.
