Description
Ok I'm using SCUMMvm version 0.7.1 and I've just started playing The Curse of Monkey Island. In the second room of the game, LeChuck's ship treasure room, there are a number of objects that cause a complete crash out to the desktop when I try to manipulate them in any way (look at them, pick them up, etc.)
These objects include: champagne bottle, music box, and home appliances. Those are the only ones that kick me out straight to the desktop and that's just from looking at them!
Is this a known issue...is there any fix?
I'm playing on Windows XP Pro and I'll attach my savegame file.

Ok I ran it with the CVS and it still does the same thing.
Additional items that I've realized do the same thing are ALL
of the lucres and the portrait. I've picked up the bag of
nickels and the ring and actually gotten off the ship, but on
the beach the same thing happens. I don't know how many
items do it, but when looking at the glowing ember, which I
know you need, it boots me out. It also boots me out when I
try to pick up the chicken.
So as for info:
*I'm now at version 0.8.0 and have tested it with that. *The game is English language *It's the talkie version of the game but I've also noticed that sometimes instead of talking it just shows text....as if it's missing audio. *Win32 platform (Windows XP Pro to be exact)

I can't reproduce this. Is it possible that your data files have become corrupted? (I know this seems unlikely, but you'd be surprised how many bug reports turn out to be just that. Heaven knows how it happens.)

No problem for me, neither. Please, check your datafiles. You can do that by comparing their md5 checksums with these :

To process your bug report appropriately, we need you to provide the following additional information:
* ScummVM version (PLEASE test the latest CVS/Daily build) * Bug details, including instructions on reproducing it * Language of game (English, German, ...) * Version of game (talkie, floppy, ...) * Platform and Compiler (Win32, Linux, MacOS, ...) * Attach a save game if possible * If this bug only occurred recently, please note the last version without the bug, and the first version including the bug. That way we can fix it quicker by looking at the changes made.
This should only take you a little time but will make it much easier for us to process your bug report in a way that satisfies both you and us.
Thank you for your support!
