Description

Dear ScummVM team!

I bought Freddi Fish and Luther's Water Worries as Single Edition (Not bundled as SuperArcade)

Released 1996, Published by Infogrames.

It contains both Win/Mac.

So here's what it says:

Debuglevel (from command line): 0 Looking for water Trying to start game 'Freddi Fish and Luther's Water Worries' Unknown MD5 (f1b0e0d587b85052de5534a3847e68fe)! Please report the details (langu age, platform, etc.) of this game to the ScummVM team ScummEngine_v72he readMAXS: MAXS has blocksize 52 Bad ID 1000100('☺') found in index file directory!!

P.S.: Would it be useful if I filed MD5s for Football 2002 and Basketball? I have them too, they are not detected right but work *somehow* lol.

Best regards!

Joachim Eberhard

I added the details for game, try the current Windows snapshot of ScummVM.

We aren't taking MD5 details for later Backyard sports titles at the moment, since we are still undecided about 16bit color support.

Thanks Kirben, the Windows Version works, but the Mac version crashes:

Or maybe I just didn't provide enough info.

these md5s were computed with md5sums

There should be a 'Water Worries (7)' file in the Macintosh verison too.

If it still fails, please attach a debug level 9 log, ie: scummvm -d9 water > water.txt

There is one, but the filename is different than the others!

Checked again with HFVExplorer, it's the same as on CD.

I can only suggest renaming 'Water (7)' to 'Water Worries (7)' for now.

comment:8 by SF/joachimeberhard, 19 years ago

Just in case you wondered...

Renaming of course works.

But then it's not like on the CD.

If it could be made to work in original state without big troubles for ScummVM.....

But it's not that important after all.

I still got Super Duper Arcade 1&2 anyways :-)

Best regards

Joachim

I added work around to ScummVM, try the current Windows snapshot of ScummVM. The original filename should work now.

comment:10 by SF/joachimeberhard, 19 years ago

The original filename works now, thank you.

The renamed version now fails.

But this is probably intended.

Best regards & good night!

Joachim
