Description
When I try to cancel the intro, it always crashes after the company logo. If I leave it running, it crashes some time during the intro.
There is no error message, the sound just stops and the screen goes black - only the ScummVM-Keyboard-bar is still visible. The only thing I can do is to take out the battery as there is no other way of getting out or switching off the phone anymore. The scummvm.stderr.txt and scummvm.stdout.txt-files created by the 0.9CVS-versions are empty.
I tried it with no sound, mp3s and ogg. I tested it with v0.6, v0.8, 0.8.2 and the latest 0.9CVS. It's always the same. When I run the game from with ScummVM for Windows, it works fine...
I'm using a SonyEricsson P900 and the Simon the Sorcerer 2 DOS CD version.

Ok, didn't know that I had to reply here :)
Anyway, when your question was posted I tried it again using the latest CVS/SVN-build version and the situation is still the same - I was unable to get through to the game.

When the screen just goes black its usually a race condition between two mutexes. I will see if I can find any cause of it.

I ran the intro with the latest SVN code using the french cd rom version without any problems. I dont this bug has a occurance of 100% with all versions of Simon 2, so it might be have its priority degraded!? Running with a english version just gave opcode'0' unknown, but I think need a proper version of Simon 2 floppy version to know, since there are patched/cracked version out there which might not work 100%, and those should n't be supported anyway or?

I have been working with the SDL integration for Symbian OS, and it seems like the mutex and thread integration has n't been all in place, something that should be working now.
I have had some problems in the beginning, where I had problems with locking Simon2, but could n't understand why, but after reviewing SDL I found a possible reason for the lockup.

So is this fixed now (and thus can be closed) ? Or are you waiting for confirmation by the submitted that the fix worked ? (In that case a new daily build might be a good idea ... :)
