Description

I don't know if this is a bug, or simply my monitor. FOA has the interesting feature that when you're underground, in darkness, it gradually brightens the palette to simulate night vision. However, although I *know* it does this, I cannot actually *see* any difference. It would be nice if someone could check with the original how it ought to look.
I'm attaching a savegame near the German dig site. Simply go underground. Adding debug messages to darkenPalette() should confirm that it's doing something to the palette.

Attached a screenshot of the room 73 under dosbox. ScummVM output seems equivalent to the original.

I guess you're right. I just tried it in DOSbox, too, and even in the middle of the night, with the lights turned off, I simply can't see any difference after waiting a couple of minutes.
How a reviewer managed to spot it, and compliment the game designers on it, is completely beyond me.
