Description
(Sorry if this is the wrong place for a GP2X ScummVM build bug)
Monkey Island 2 crashes when the screen attempts to scroll downwards. I know of two places where this happens consistently: 1) Booty Island, going to the cliff and then looking at the cliff/walking to the cliff egde 2) Going diving for treasure (anywhere) with Captain Kate's.
I've attached a saved game with Guybrush on the edge of the cliff that causes the crash.

To process your bug report appropriately, we need you to provide the following additional information:
* ScummVM version (PLEASE test the latest CVS/Daily build) * Bug details, including instructions on reproducing it * Language of game (English, German, ...) * Version of game (talkie, floppy, ...) * Platform and Compiler (Win32, Linux, MacOS, ...) * Attach a save game if possible * If this bug only occurred recently, please note the last version without the bug, and the first version including the bug. That way we can fix it quicker by looking at the changes made.
This should only take you a little time but will make it much easier for us to process your bug report in a way that satisfies both you and us.
Thank you for your support!

This bug is likely caused by grabRawScreen() not being implemented properly. See bugs #1513002, #1531983, #1581342, #1594636. We should first establish that this is indeed the cause; then make sure it is fixed in the SVN trunk. In addition, porters might want to make a 0.9.1a release with this issue fixed.

Looks very much like the GrabRawScreen() issue. The GP2X port uses the same implementation of GrabRawScreen() as the SDL backend currently but I am investigating why it is not working as it should.

Any news on this? In particular, is the GrabRawScreen issue fixed in SVN? If no, any estimates as to when it will be? If yes, is there a test build that the bug reporter could use to verify the issue is gone?

I've run into this problem too - using Scumm VM for PalmOS build 0.9.1 (Oct 28 2006 09:52:24) My platform is a Treo 650 and I'm looking down the cliff on Booty Island in Monkey 2
Get in touch if you need more info or if you need someone to confirm a fix. If I had more time on my hands I'd have a go at fixing it myself :-)

Hi chris_stjohn,
I believe the GrabRawScreen() issue also is present in the PalmOS 0.9.1 build but I would suggest that this bug report is not an suitable place to record this.
Have you tried an official 0.10.0 Palm build as we would only entertain a bug report if the issue was still present in the latest release. If so please create a new bug report and note the issue there.
Regards,
John Willis
