Description
It's a MIPS processor running EpodXP. Everything
works flawlessly (so far tested IndyAtlantis, DOTT, &
MI2), but there's no icon menu or ANY menu for that
matter, nor is there a shortcut key to get there (in
0.2.0). If I click on the left end of the black area just
below the game commands (Give, Talk To, etc.), it
functions as the scene-skip button, but there are no
other features available. Older versions of
PocketSCUMM (Build 021602-1 / VM 012502) showed
the File menu, so it's not just that it's incompatible.
Something however small has changed in the source
code. Might you be able to help?

of course I mean rewrite my own PocketPC GUI code ... just to be clear since there's a ScummVM GUI code rewrite at the moment :)

Ehm, well, no, since this isn't just a "missing feature"... it's a bug. Is there a "bug-fix request list"?

Leave it open for the moment, although maybe I should create a 'port-specific bugs' tracker... so we can focus on the real general issues here.

That would work, just as long as I'm not forgotten there... :o)

you will be happy to notice that you have not been forgotten :) I've a new alpha build ready for you, which should try to fix this problem ... please refer to this PocketMatrix forum thread http://forums.pocketmatrix.com/viewtopic.php? p=91004#91004 for more details and download instructions

WOW, this is AWESOME!!! I have MENU, I have
SAVE/LOAD, I have keyboard, I have everything! Thanks so
much! There's only one quirk that I can see is that if you use
the programme's quit function, it doesn't completely quit
(leaves some graphics from ScummVM hiding the taskbar).
I'll send some screenshots very soon. Other than that, I can
say with full confidence that this version now works flawlessly
on the Casio BE300 running EpodXP 2.1, both in portrait and
landscape mode, and also works with SO3 files. I'll just look
forward to the day when it supports some of the older games
(for nostalgia, of course), but now I can finally get around to
playing IndyAtlantis 'n' stuff! Thanks!!! This is tiiiiight!
