Hi!!! :-)
I had this (minor) problem, with DOTT (DOS, floppy version), running ScummVM (both with latest stable version and daily build), under WinXP (latest SPs and updates):
The F1 in-game key not working. This is meant for saving-loading DOTT's SAVEGAME.* files. However, this is not a problem, since saving-loading in ScummVM's format (tentacle.s??) is working properly.
Anyway, I'm suspecting some DOTT's incompatibility with WinXP (running DOTT with WinXP's NTVDM, is very problematic here). Also, I can't be sure, that my old DOTT backup is OK 100%.

For saving and loading, use the F5 key. The F1 key does nothing in all versions of DOTT.
Savestate file.
