SIMON1: Some minor graphical glitches

Description
(1) When the barbarien throws the troll into the river, the animation isn't shown correctly. Sometimes the troll is visible, sometimes not. After the animation there are some remnants of the troll in the air.
(2) When the giant awakes and breaks the tree, a part of the tree stump remains painted in the old form.
(3) When Simon is wearing Golumn's ring and thus is unvisible, and then moves "above" another movable item like a door, the door is strangly rastered.
(4) The freshly "stoned" Sordid looks alright. But when leaving the room and reentering it, he looks strange, more in red tones, looks wrong somehow.
Sorry, I've no save games, should have done that, but forgot it... :-(
The glitches 1-2 went away after leaving and reentering the room.

Exactly which simon 1 version were you using ? I tried all three simon 1 versions and I'm unable to re-produce problems 1-2. Problems 3-4 still occur, problem 4 seems due to scummvm been able to read those sprites correctly .

I'm using the german simon1win version: Simon.voc: 1994-07-13 / 206.104.340 bytes GamePC: 1994-07-13 / 29.671 bytes Simon.gme: 1994-07-13 / 6.945.964 bytes
We both have legal copies of Simon (I guess). So theoretically it should be legal, if I would make my version of Simon available for you for testing purposes. Or would it not be legal? I'm not sure. If it's legal and if you are interested in trying it, please contact me at "scummvm@madshi.net". Compressed without the voc files it's 3,5 MB.

Can't reproduce (1) anymore. Seems to be fixed, perhaps by the improvements you did for Simon2? No idea...
Can't test (2) because I'm no savegame for that anymore. Do you have a save game which you could send me? Thanx!

Problem 4 seems to due to ScummVM been unable to read a sprite correctly, there is the following warning as the magic wand is used on Sordid: WARNING: Trying to set XY of nonexistent sprite '12820'!
I have attached screenshots of the problem too.

Only problem 3 still occurs now. Problem 4 was just fixed by jamieson630, it was due to incorrect code in vc_3_new_sprite.

I just added the last graphical glitch in Simon the Sorcerer 1 as a separate bug report.
