PS2 : Protection screen is not bypassed in Monkey Island 1

Description
ScummVM 0.11.1 PS2 V4+150GB HDD Monkey Island 1 (EGA) everything launched on HDD.
While the piracy screen is correctly bypassed in 0.9.1 (the game directly ges to the intro without asking for the protection code), it is not the case in the later version (0.11.1). As the pad only allows to input "0" & "1", it's hard to pick the correct date even with the code sheet.

ok but then, the game is unplayable without being hacked or without an USB Keyboard.
Thank you for your answer.

Hi there Nico,
IIRC whatever you enter (even just 0 and 1) will get you pass the protection screen, let me know if it does not work for you.
An OSD keyboard for users with just joypads it's on its way (soor or late) (maybe late).
Ciao, -max
This isn't a bug, the copy protection for Monkey Island (EGA) was only disabled in the past, due to error.
As Monkey Island (EGA) was never released, with the copy protection disabled.
