Is this a regular official translation, or a fan made translation?

Did you use our compression tools on the bundles?

Did you try recopying the data files from your CD?

I was allowed to take look at this game by the submitter. A couple of things are a bit weird. First one is the absence of a way to start the game. And the other thing is that descumm.exe is in the same directory. It looks to me that this just can't be the original game. It looks more like some hacked version or a fan-made translation (but a pretty good one).
