QG3: Importing does not seem to work (MacOS- related?)

Description
When trying to import a character at the beginning, the game does not seem to find the file. It doesn't even seem to be able to list the contents of directories. This applies to relative paths (e.g. if I select Change Directory and choose . , it just shows an empty file list) and to absolute paths (e.g. choosing /Users/johann/Desktop shows an empty file list).
Relative and absolute paths work with the original interpreter in DOSBox, though of course those correspond to the virtual file system created by DOSBox.
This may or may not be related to the fact that I'm on Mac OS X -- I have not way to try it on Windows at the moment.

You need to have the character files inside your saved games directory (where they actually would get saved if you played through the games in ScummVM) and name it qfg2-xxxx
I'm not sure if it's possible to put original sierra character files in there. Just try it.
The directory change button in this dialog will get disabled sometimes. It doesn't have any effect.
Importing from QfG1 is currently not supported, but will be in the future. For now just rename the character file from qfg1-xxxxx to qfg2-xxxxx inside your saved game directory.

just tried with your character file. Renaming to qfg2-thief2.sav and putting it inside ScummVM saved games directory works just fine. Closing this now.
