Description
scummvm version: 1.2.0svn51733
The game uses keyboard shortcuts for common commands, like CTRL-A for "Ask about" and CTRL-T for "Tell about". This is not supported currently.

Are you using Windows? Try turning off the Numlock key on the keyboard to enable the shortcuts. It worked for me in Police Quest 2.
