The punk in the mall is stuck somewhere on the screen (his complete sprite just stays anywhere, but it is still moving. This can be seen when the (background) sprite of him passes areas where other sprites are constantly animated. i.e. the flesh eating plant (a part of his head will pass by --> screenshot) the salesman on the left side (nearly all of the sprite will become visible, but parts are cut off, like the legs)
