Description
The fading of all channels is also fading the rhythm channel This effectively mutes the drums during the dance sequence and may have other side effects. This doesn't occur in SSCI (dosbox) I think this is specific to MT-32 but I am not sure.
patch#3266467 addresses this issue
To reproduce: Use attached save and type "sit" If you don't want to or can't use the attached save here are steps Start a new game "order" (shema will come) "ask about dance" go to sleep until dawn (day 2) sleep until evening (day 2) (the guy playing the flute is there) "sit" and shema will start dancing.
The version of QFG2 I am using the one from the QFG Anthology

Fixed in rev 9654068
The actual issue was that when the new song started, the previous song was still being faded, thus it reset the channel volume of the new song.
