I don't get this one. Here, you mention that you get an assertion, but in bug #3297883 you mention that you can enter the game, but the intro is stuck... that's a bit contradictory :/ So what actually happens?

Just to clarify...i wrote that it only happened when i set the sound driver to "Adlib Emulator" or "Amiga Audio Emulator".
I was actually missing some files...i only had the resource files presents, now i have
amigasnd.drv 7128 ----rwed 15-Jun-90 08:50:21 bank.001 242018 ----rwed 18-Jun-90 11:23:30 info 974 ----rwed 07-Jun-90 20:04:15 resource.000 126317 ----rwed 21-Jun-90 11:35:10 resource.001 264763 ----rwed 21-Jun-90 11:36:32 resource.002 677436 ----rwed 21-Jun-90 11:40:12 resource.003 605134 ----rwed 21-Jun-90 11:43:28 resource.004 695067 ----rwed 21-Jun-90 11:47:10 resource.005 676881 ----rwed 21-Jun-90 11:50:48 resource.cfg 53 ----rwed 07-Jun-90 20:04:09 resource.map 7422 ----rwed 21-Jun-90 11:36:34 resource.vol 37 ----rwed 19-Jun-90 09:31:27 sound.128 44 ----rwed 08-Jun-90 11:22:23
and it works.
Of course it could also be that i had corrupt files which you said in your first comment
Anyway it can be closed :-)
Thank you and sorry for the waste of time

That's very odd, the game works fine here with the "Adlib emulator" (in reality, the Amiga music emulator). I watched the intro and played around a bit.
Seems like you got corrupted game files.... :(
