Description
Legend of Kyrandia 1 does not start anymore with the last release v1.3.0 That was working with the previous release (v1.2.1). Downloading the KYRA.DAT from the SCUMMVM FAQ/Data files does not fix the issue.
For testing, I have tried with the KYRA.DAT of the previous release (1.2.1) but the file is detected as corrupt. The use of KYRA.DAT of release 1.2.1 crash as well (file corrupt).

You should rather try the one linked here: http://scummvm.sourceforge.net/downloads/#extras, the ones on the datafiles page are long outdated as fuzzie noted in our IRC channel today, since they still link to the SVN server.

Anyway I just tried this with a clean ScummVM install on Windows from the latest Win32 1.3.0 installer and Kyra starts up just fine.
So if you could tell us what OS you are using and *how* you installed ScummVM it might give more insights to your problem. Nowadays ScummVM distributions should usually contain the .dat files for the different engines and thus there is no need to download them yourself.

I tried the zip files for win32 and win64 (are these the affected platforms?) and both work fine.

Fixed.
I have downloaded the KYRA.DAT from WIKI datafiles and the game starts correctly now. Tested on XP pro and Vista Home edition.
Thank you again gentlemen. What is done on SCUMMVM is amazing.
