Description
The CD DOS version of Jones in the Fast Lane supported either streaming audio from the CD track OR from compressed audio contained in a file on the disc. The compressed audio isn't working, so none of the in-game speech is audible when playing the CD DOS version of the game.

Just tested this with "Jones in the Fast Lane (CD/Windows/English)" using MP3 compressed audio and: ScummVM 1.5.0git955-g92e6815-dirty (Dec 2 2011 09:02:28) Features compiled in: Vorbis FLAC MP3 ALSA SEQ TiMidity RGB zLib FluidSynth Theora AAC on Linux x86_32
And this works fine to play the shop actors' voices i.e. Blacks Market etc.
This may be a bug in the v1.4.0 tools...

We default to the CD audio as long as cdaudio.map is present. If you don't have that file, it will fall back on the resource.aud.
Are you trying to run with the cd audio?

There is now an option to toggle CD audio for Jones in the GUI, which should clear this confusion.

gzsfrk: Thank you for the bug report. However, we will require some additional information to progress this report: * Exact version of ScummVM i.e. v1.4.0 release? This can be found on the launcher screen below the ScummVM logo. * Operating System i.e. Windows/Mac ? * Exact Game version string, showing game Platform and Language variant i.e. Jones in the Fast Lane (CD/Windows/English) ?
If you could also attach a text file to this bug containing a file listing and MD5sums for your Jones datafiles, that would probably be helpful in determining your exact version for replication. The output of a tool such as http://md5summer.org/ would be optimal.
