Description
I got a hold of a version of Zak256, which had the EXP- and LFL-files from the FMTowns-version, and all the audio tracks in MP3 format (named track1.mp3 etc.). There was also a version ScummVM in the RAR archive, and a BAT-file to start the game with ScummVM.
The included version (claims to be 0.3.1cvs) - and the
0.3.0b version - of ScummVM, played the MP3-files in
correct places, but at half speed. When I cooked up my
own version of the game, in which I burnt the MP3-files
as audio tracks on a CD, the audio works correctly (after
all, it's harder to play CD-audio at wrong speeds).
Tried OS's were Win2k and Win98SE.
This is not necessarily an issue, because the audio is CDDA in the original game instead of MP3, but I remember reading, that MP3's are supposed to work (as they almost do) as well.

And please be aware that if you post any more such reports in the future, we will request that SourceForge ban you from the site and possibly report your details to LucasArts Legal.
Considering the negotiations we are in at the moment, you could very well get us sued by saying things like that - and I'm not about to look upon that lightly, I'm broke enough as it is :)
ScummVM needs 22khz MP3s.
And I'd be careful with writing to much details into bug reports on how you obtain warez.
