allstar689: Thank you for the bug report, but before we can proceed on this, we will need you to supply some missing information...
1. What version of ScummVM are you running? 2. What Operating System are you using it on? 3. Assuming that you are using the latest stable release i.e. v1.6.0, then have you tried the latest development build i.e. v1.7.0git from http://www.scummvm.org/downloads/#daily to see if the bug still occurs? 4. Using a development build or running the stable release build from a command window, will display the error console. Please note any messages there associated with this crash... and post them here.

1. Version 1.6.0. 2. Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit (Service Pack 1) 3. After trying the latest development build, it still crashes. 4. When the game crashes, it just closes ScummVm and exits back to Windows without displaying an error message or anything.

OK... That is not likely to be an application crash though, or the OS would pop up a warning and stack trace...
Try running scummvm from a command window. You can start this by typing "cmd" into the Start->Run box.
If ScummVM is run in this way, you should see an error message in either the drop down console before it exits or in the command line window... If not, try finding the ScummVM log files which are located in a folder close to the savegames ie. https://github.com/scummvm/scummvm/blob/master/README#L1368

The only other thing I can suggest further is to attach a text file to this bug listing your Putt-Putt datafiles and the associated MD5sum file checksums. The output of a tool such as http://md5summer.org/ or similar would be optimal.
This will help the developers identify your exact variant and detect if you have corrupted datafiles...

(Here is the error message that I got when running from the command Window.)
WARNING: SearchSet::add: archive 'C:\Program Files (x86)\ScummVM\ScummVM Games\Putt-Putt's One Stop Fun Shop\' already present!
(I don't understand it.)

Did you copy over the 'heidi' directory from the CD? as the error point is when those files are loaded by the game.

I downloaded this from Emuparadise. the same website I downloaded all of my ScummVm games. (Which work fine!)
