In the Dentists at the Mal there should be a rock theme heard as background loop and some drilling noises and "electric charges".

raziel_: Can you please attach the equivalent savegame from the original interpreter running in DOSBox to allow comparison by developers? Thanks.

Tested with latest Git master on Linux x86_64 with (DOS/German) variant and the attached savegame. NOT replicated. The music is very quiet, but is present along with the electric spark SFX.
This may be two different issues here as increasing the music volume makes no significant difference.

Yes, you are right, by pressing my ear against the speaker i can actually hear the faint theme and the sfx :-)

Ah. So same behaviour on LE and BE, so not BE specific. Will change bug name to be more accurate.

It could be unrelated, but also see http://sourceforge.net/p/scummvm/bugs/6371 for another report about this music track.

I can not replicate this at all, can you build from master and check if this still is a problem?

Confirmed fixed.
This doesn't happen anymore either by playing to the scene or by loading the save state.
