Description
The Android build of ScummVM does not appear to be taking the subtitle speed for MONKEY1 into consideration. Subtitles AR very low regardless of either game-specific or global subtitle settings.
This issue may also affect other SCUMM games, but I haven't been able to test them on my phone due to a lack of free space.

The report is for a much older version of ScummVM, and of the ScummVM Android app, so perhaps there have been fixes for this in the meantime.
I tested with ScummVM 2.9.0git (recent daily development build) with the CD/DOS version of MI1 (SOMI) and CD version of MI2. These versions are of the games as extracted from the respective Special Editions. I also tested with the EGA DOS demo for SOMI, that's available on the ScummVM site.
When set from the Game Options specifically for each game, overriding the Global Audio options, Subtitles Speed seems to be taken into account, as expected.
However, there is an oddity regarding the global options setting. If I don't override global settings for subtitles, and have set the global setting to a very fast value (254), to notice the effect, the games do not get that fast speed. In fact, if I then launch the game and go to its audio settings via GMM I see that it has set its own setting for speed (170) and has by itself overridden the global setting.
I don't think this is Android specific though. But I've only tested on Android

Thank you for testing.
Closing the bug as outdated then.
I recently finished both MI1 and MI2 on Android (I believe ScummVM v1.9.0, will check) and experienced the same.
