Description
ScummVM version: 0.3b Language: German Version: Don't know Platform; Compiler: SuSE Linux 8.1; GCC 3.2 Problem: Sometimes the sound plays always, sometimes only once, sometimes never. I have this Problem in Indy3, too. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Better? Sorry, but i'm a german student, and this is my first bugreport

1. In the Inventory there's only text, so i think it's the Floppy VGA Version. 2.All kind of sound.

Sound and music are a known problems with MonkeyVGA and Indy3. See http://www.scummvm.org/compatibility.php for more details. In addition, the music often plays much too fast. The catacombs music in Indy3 is one particularly horrid example.

sounds like known problems with sound and music in indy3/monkeyvga.

This one is much better (I am a german student, too, BTW :-)
So, to refine it:
Are you starting it wiht "scummvm monkey" or "scummvm monkeyvga" ? I.e. is it the floppy VGA version, or the CD version? Another way to distinguish this is to look at the inventory, is is made of icons, or text only?
What kind of sound are we talking about? Music? Effects? Both?
