ScummVM 1.9.0git (Jul 15 2016 19:54:37) Features compiled in: Vorbis FLAC MP3 RGB zLib MPEG2 Theora AAC FreeType2 JPEG PNG
You can find it from the developers homepage here: http://kraaca.cz/basis-octavus/
It will start, but only show the empty inventory on the top of the screen. One can press ESC and reach the in-game menu and can exit the game.
It needs some more work as it reports script runtime errors on start.
And, it's only in Czech.

The "Betatest" is part of my path where i put stuff i test before i move it to something more meaningful :-)
The author mentions that it may not be completed and some things may not work, but overall it should be in a playable and winable state (That is with an online translator as i don't speak czech).

It will be 7 years old when I first started making the game Basis Octavus. In fact, I had only the vaguest idea of what I wanted to make. But gradually it began to gain contours. Finally, I almost finished the game ... and left her nearly six years on the disc. It's a bit scary as it flies.
So please, take it with a spare. The game did six years younger than me. Still, I want her to launch into the world. I think some good ideas in it.

Otherwise, the game is a classic adventure game, you talk to characters, using objects you explore the surroundings.
And by the way, has two ends!
PS: It is only for Windows and probably there will not be everything to work.

About the 3D objects, yes, i guess there is stuff in 3D in there.
I f you follow the link to the authors website there is a screenshot which has two (i guess) 3D characters in the scene.
But as i can't test the game on windows myself i wouldn't know for sure.

I have checked game.dcp for this game - it use 3d actors, which means this game is out of ScummVM's scope. Maybe it would be supported later with ResidualVM, but as for ScummVM - I guess we should close this defect.

Should we add {"data.dcp", 0, "021ef97f8f49ec33f83beae0d6e38f08", 49336909}
to detection tables anyway? We already have several 3D games in detection tables.

At this point, I wonder if there will be ever 3D WME support for ScummVM or if we consider this to be outside of ScummVM's scope.
I think at this point we should be consistent: We could either add the game even without lacking 3D support or leave it out, but then we should consider *removing* the detection entries for the rest of the 3D games.

The intent has always been to keep the 2.5D games in the detection list, because the plan for implementing 2.5D support is to do so in ResidualVM, while keeping the codebases as close as possible in the non-3D parts. Hence having the same detection tables is very usefull.
How to actually treat these entries in ScummVM is of course another matter entirely, I assume we could handle them similar to how a disabled sub-engine would?

Two questions:
Does the game use 3D-elements?
You mention Betatest, is this the final version, or is there a more specific version number available?
