Description
Forwarded from Debian bug #152979.
Package: scummvm Version: 0.2.0.1 Severity: wishlist
I'd like to see a default search path for the games. I see you provide the directory /usr/lib/scummvm/ - which I assume is for global installs of games. I feel that looking for the games respectively in ".", "~/(something/game_to_start)", and "/usr/lib/scummvm/(game_to_start)" if a path isn't provided on the command line or the configuration file is a good idea. Right now only "." is searched.
See http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=152979 for more info.

Not really a good idea in my eyes (and shows a very Unix centric world view, but that's another matter :-). You can configure each game you want in your preference/config file. The launcher makes this easy enough, after all. I.e. I can easily configure a dozen games in arbitrary paths within 5 minutes using it.
