Description
Dear ScummVM team!
It would be very nice if that could be fixed, as ScummVM is otherwise really good to use in the CommandLine.
Situation: scummvm.exe is in C:\Programme\ScummVM\ I am eg in X:\
This is what I get when running it from X:\
X:\>C:\Programme\ScummVM\scummvm.exe WARNING: Can not find theme config file 'modern.ini'! WARNING: Could not initialize your preferred theme, falling back to classic style!
Please, make it possible to start in new GUI without any additional settings/parameters.
Thanks,
Joachim

We do have a "themepath" setting, though there currently isn't any GUI for changing it. Perhaps the simplest way would be to add that?

I'm attaching a (not very well tested) patch to add a global theme path option, to show what I mean.

I quote Kirben here:

In the path were scummvm.exe resides.

Yes.
Please make it possible to start ScummVM from another directory, without the need of specifying anything, if possible.
In addition, of course, a theme-path option would also be nice.
But my main-concern is running it in new GUI without any options from CMD, when running it from a different directory, e.g. always search for the themes in the directory where scummvm.exe is located first.
Thanks
Joachim

Moving to feature requests, as this isn't a bug.
I expect changes would be required in file system backends, to get the correct directory for the executable file (scummvm.exe) on all platforms.

Where is the modern theme located in this case?
I assume you want ScummVM to check the directory where 'scummvm.exe' is located, when searching for the theme?
