Description
Although the DXA support is nice, it can be a pain to use encode_dxa (command-line). The RAD Game Tools can turn the smk into an avi.
If that's not possible, they make avi to mpeg2 converters, and ScummVM already has support for mpeg2.
Thanks!

Rejected, since MPEG2 support would offer no advantage.
Adding MPEG2 support would be more complicated, due to the way videos are used by Blue's Clues games and the Feeble Files. MPEG2 compression will usually cause compression artifacts, unless using extremely large file size too.
The current DXA format offers lossless compression, for reasonable sized videos. And the videos still need to be converted either way.
