Description
I think it could be interesting to add reporting to ScummVM. Maybe a text file to be sended manually or even automatically in the Mozilla's Quality Feedback Agent (http://www.mozilla.org/quality/qfa.html) style.
With this I mean when ScummVM not detects certain MD5s, it can write a text file and/or send them automatically if being a connection automatically. It can be used for reporting bugs in the same way when some interpreter fails or crashes too.

Automatic reporting is never a good idea, and commonly regarded as spyware, when it is enabled by default. Automatic reporting would require network code to be added, which isn't worth it, just to have basic information reported back. Most reports require additional information or testing after submitted, whether md5 checksums or general bug reports.
Sending manualy is no better than submiting a bug report via SourceForge.

Mozilla has its own multiplatform mail user agent. So it knows how to send mail on all different OSes. Adding this to ScummVM will IMHO be too much.
