Description
Hello.
Choosing what resolution to use in full-screen would be very helpful. More and more people are using TFT displays nowadays, and it's crucial to use the native resolution of the display, or else quality suffers.
For example, I'm trying to use 1280x1024 on my display with a 4x scaler for Monkey Island for example (320x4=1280 which fits perfect). ScummVM can't do that yet. All I get is 1024x768 and it looks very blurry; the crispness I had with my old 14" CRT is lost unless there would be a way to use 1280x1024 (or any other resolution depending on the TFT used).

I wouldn't have submitted this one if it was possible to use graphics card scaling.
Almost every emulator supports choosing your own resolution, so I absolutely don't see the point in ScummVM not doing the same. You are imposing unnecessary limits by not following standard behavior.
You said "we can't really choose resolution, we have to use multiplication of original game resolution which is 320x240 in most cases." I don't see why you "can't choose resolution". It's perfectly possible to have a 3x scaler with the source being 320x240 while the screen runs at 1280x1024 (the game would be centered on the screen).
Why can't you "really choose resolution?"

No. (a) we can't really choose resolution, we have to use multiplication of original game resolution which is 320x240 in most cases. (b) we are not going to add 4x scalers.
Use your videocard scaling capabilities.
