Description
Would it be possible to switch or toggle the auto-save off/on in the Dreamcast port, taking into consideration any additional overhead it could cause on the the system. If it is... would it also be posible to make the auto-save interval something like ten minutes instead of the five it used to be?

The Dreamcast port reads scummvm.ini from the root of the CD, and I have verified that it respects autosave_period. This scummvm.ini will disable autosave completely:
[scummvm] autosave_period=0
I would say this ticket could be closed, though it might be worth mentioning the above on the Dreamcast wiki page. Autosave is somewhat intrusive on the Dreamcast because saving to VMU/VMS is slow, limited by storage capacity, and requires user intervention.

Closing this, as the feature is already present.
In the modern GUI the autosave interval is configurable and the feature can also be turned off completely. Is this not possible in the Dreamcast port?
