We don't support compressing the PlayStation sound files which use a different audio compression. Moving to feature requests.

The size gain does not worth the effort now, 10 years later. Closing.
goinz: I can't see any recent changes that should caused a regression here. It is possible the tools have never supported compression correctly for PSX and/or German Talkie.
Please can you try the following and see what results: 1. Please try scummvm-tools v1.3.0, v1.2.0, v1.1.0, v1.0.0 etc. to see if any of the previous versions work correctly i.e. to see if this is a regression. 2. Please try scummvm-tools v1.3.1 compressing to MP3, rather than Ogg Vorbis to see if this works correctly. 3. If you have the English version of BS2, could you try this? (Not Critical as most developers including myself have this and can test this out, but would save us some time). Thanks.
