Description
Here is some entries for the MT-32 custom instrument translation table. These seem to be the ones most used in monkey2. I had to make one slight change to the mt32-gm table as well in order to use GM instrument 95 (Sweep pad) for Swell 1 and Swell 2

Committed (imuse.cpp v1.80). I've also added in the complete list of Roland instrument definitions that I extracted from the MI2 and FOA resource files. Chuzwuzza, this should serve as a useful guide for how complete the mapping is as you go along. (Sorry, I didn't record exactly where in the game each one occurs.)
I'm going to leave this patch open until our MI2 implementation, at least, is fairly complete.
Thanks for all your work in building this database, Chuzwuzza! Would you like to tackle FOA once MI2 is well in hand? ;)

I'll get to doing some more mappings once all my assignments and exams are done :P
Too much work in the next week and a bit. After that though, 3 months of nothing! Monkey2, FOA, here I come!

This is still open because Chuzz hasn't finished the instrument mapping. He can open a new patch each time he gets a few more instruments mapped, but it seems more convenient that he just add them in here.
As I said in a previous post, I'd like to at least have all the MI2 instruments mapped before closing this one. FOA instruments are a much larger bear and warrant their own patch.

Sorry about not submitting any more instruments :/ I was sidetracked with exams, then I just sort of forgot about it...
Anyway, after tomorrow I will have some time to do some more

Hmm. Is there much point keeping this open anymore? The majority of all the 'musical' mt-32 instruments are now mapped. All that remains are the sound effects. Jaimieson: Is there a way we can use the GS sound effects for this?

Closing. Great job on the mapping, Chuzz. Regarding sound effect patches, I don't see GS banks as an option, as support is not guaranteed. (I finally got around to testing my own chipset, and it does not support GS banks.) The solution I would favor is a mapping from Roland to Adlib instrument definitions, in anticipation of eventually running Adlib and GM drivers simultaneously.
