This diff isn't recognised by my version of patch - is it unified?

just look at the patch and you'll see its unified. the problem lies in using \ instead of / for paths.

and diff cries about all the CRs :)

attaching version of patch with /s and no CRs maybe I should have just redone a new patch entirely but oh well.. it still applies
