Description
g++ 3.4 with -pedantic won't accept spurious semicolons. It also warns about -Wstrict-prototypes (which doesn't make sense for C++).

attaching a patch might help... yes you selected a file when you created the item I'm sure but SF doesn't seem to handle that for whatever reason
