Mechanical Age Island Controls warning invalid _rect.top

Description
When the user steps up to the controls that turn the mechanical age structure a warning is issued in the log window. No issues are noticed.
These are the controls that are on top of the elevator in the middle of the age, not the virtual simulation in one of the brothers room. It only happens when stepping up to the control. The attached images show what the user should see in game for before and then after the warning is issued.
It doesn't matter which way the island is pointing.
In order to get to the controls (spoiler), first take the elevator up (don't get out), then press the middle button and step out. It will beep a few times then go down and you can now access the controls.
